Step 1: Configuring Dial Up Connection

1.  Click on: My Computer. Dial Up Networking.

2.  Click on: Make a new connection.

3.  Type in Our Town for the name and 965-1367 for the phone number.

4.  Click Next. Click Finish.

5.  Right click on the new Our Town Connection. Select Properties.

6.  Uncheck use country code and area code.

7.  Select Server Types.

8.  Uncheck everything except TCP/IP.

9.  Click the TCP/IP Settings button.

10.  IP Address is server assigned.

11.  11. Below IP Address, change to Specify DNS Servers: Primary - 206.64.104.1 and         Secondary - 206.64.104.2

12.  Click OK twice.

13.  Close any open windows.

Step 2: Configuring Protocols

1.  Click on: Start. Settings. Control Panel. Network.

2.  Make sure the following items are installed: Client for Microsoft Networks. Dial Up       adapter and TCP/IP.

3.  Highlight TCP/IP and click Properties.

4.  IP Address tab: IP address is automatically assigned.

5.  WINS Resolution tab: WINS Resolution needs to be disabled.

6.  Gateway tab: New Gateway is 206.64.104.3(click add).

7.  DNS Configuration tab: Enable DNS. Host: your username Domain: our-town.com       DNS server search order: 206.64.104.1(click add) and 206.64.104.2(click add) and       Domain suffix: our-town.com (click add).
